Arya Tara (Green Tara)

Green Tara, a Bodhisattva of Compassion, is linked to protection, healing, and removing obstacles. Legend says Green Tara came from a tear of Avalokiteshvara. His tears turned into Tara as he wept for the suffering of beings. Tara then promised to help free beings from suffering. Over time, she appeared in many forms, with Green Tara being the most widely worshiped.
