Mayadevi (Mahamaya )

Mayadevi is also known as Mahamaya and best known as the mother of Siddhartha Gautama, the historical Buddha. She was a queen consort of King Suddhodana of the Shakya clan. The most well-known story about Mayadevi is the miraculous conception of the Buddha.
