Description
This is half Gold Gilded Buddhist Statue of Manjushree. It is beautifully hand carved by our artists. The face of this statue has been painted with gold. Reason for painting the face is to define important attributes of the Manjushree's face, mainly its eyes, lips and hair. Natural colored small stones in statue's oranaments and crown surely will make a beautiful addtion to statue.

Manjushree is a bodhisattva associated with prajna(wisdom) in Mahayana Buddhism. His name means "Gentle Glory" in Sanskrit. He carries the sword of wisdom and light in his right hand and prajnaparmita manusript " the book of Divine Wisdom" on his left on the lotus blossom. His left hand will be in teaching gesture(Jhan Mudra). He is also called Manjunghose, Manju Bajra , Vajranga and Vagiswara. People believe that the workship of Manjushree can Confer upon them wisdom, memory, intelligence etc.
