Description

Hand Prayer Wheel is a traditional Buddhist devotional object used for prayer and meditation. It is a cylindrical wheel on a spindle used in Buddhism. On the outside of the wheel, the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum " is traditionally written. Buddhists prayers believes hold that spinning the prayer wheel has the same efficacy as chanting the mantras printed on the scroll within. It is rotated by hand as a form of spiritual practice and to accumulate merit.
